15 months

My little guy is about 15.5 months now. We went to the doctor for his 15 months wellness check up a few weeks ago and also to get a few jabs (poor guy!) As he gets older it is more and more of a challenge for the pediatrician to check him and also to give him his jabs!

K.O after his traumatic time at the dr's office

Height: 32.5" (86.91 percentile)

Weight: 22lbs 12 oz (10.319kg) (24.4 percentile)

Little goof ball

Our pediatrician  do not think he is under weight and has no worries about his weight at all. I keep telling myself that his weight is alright but inside me I'm slightly worried that he is slightly skinny despite him being a great eater and nurses really well. Hubs has no worries what so ever with his weight as he knows that we are feeding him well, healthy food and he's eating a lot.

He still loves to walk and DOES NOT like to hold any one's hands at all. Still don't really like to sit in his stroller/pram. We had to get a Baby Jogger City Mini GT Stroller - Black/Shadow (Google Affiliate Ad) and he tolerates this stroller better than BOB Revolution CE Stroller - Black (Google Affiliate Ad). Hubs don't understand why because apparently non has better review compared to baby jogger and I have to remind him it doesn't matter which is better but the most important thing is which one he prefers though he just tolerates the new one better than the old one and it doesn't mean he prefers the new one.

Playing with his ever faithful dog! Daisy..

Speech wise he's not saying a lot of words or sentences. Hubs was getting slightly worried and asked his pediatrician. She said that it should be fine because he is saying or trying to some words. His famous words are "da da da da da", "baaaa baaaa baaa (bad), sometimes "ma maaaa maaaa". He will say some other ones here and there which sometimes sounds similar to the rest. Am I worried? slightly! But then again I read that we shouldn't get too worried yet till maybe he's about 18 months old. He however understands us very well. For example, I will ask him to put his books back or when I tell him that is time to change his diaper or when I ask him where is his dogs etc.

@ Texas wild life ranch petting area last week (Will hopefully blog about this place soon!)

Feeding the kid (He thinks all animals are nice and allows him to torture like our daisy!)

He's usually a cheerful baby. He doesn't like us to leave him alone in the other side of the baby gate. He always has to be by us. It seems like he has no problem running from us when we are out. The other day we were out of town and was staying in a hotel. Him and hub was running in the hall way and as usual our little boss was running ahead then hubs decided to hide. He turned around and didn't see hubs he started bawling then hubs came out of hiding and he ran to the hubs. That didn't teach him to NOT run ahead or hold our hands cause he was still doing the same thing. When him and hubs were running around in the hotel hubs thought him how to jump. He don't know how to bring his body up to just so he just tip toes and that's his jump! lol so now he is starting to walk tip toes.

Sleeping wise..He was doing really well getting up between 4-6 am for his feed. Three weeks ago he started to get up at 12-1am and wanted his feed. After that he will be sleeping with me and wanting to "snack" all night long (every two hrs) Two night ago I had to retrain him from his "snacking" again. So far so good. The first night he got up and cried for 10-15 minutes (first 5 minutes was pretty loud and rough) then he quiet down however it took him 45-60 minutes to resettle himself back to sleep!!! By the time I myself fall asleep it was time for him morning feed. When everything goes well I plan to stop his morning feed. Last night he woke up and he knew he was not getting a snack. He wanted to crawl out of bed but I didn't let him and he cried louder for that than not giving him the boobs!! o_O BTW my hubs slept through both night!! (Poor guy has been so busy at work and he's really exhausted which proves it!!)
